The Goal

After acquiring the boat in the fall of 2024, we set a clear goal: to race it as much as possible and perform at the highest level. With the boat's history in mind, we immediately focused on one of the most prestigious events it was originally built for—the Pacific Cup. Spanning 2,070 miles from San Francisco, California, to Kaneohe, Hawaii, this race is renowned as one of the most grueling challenges in the sailing world. To prepare, we're working closely with local companies to refine and optimize the boat, all while competing in races around New England. Our ultimate plan is to be fully prepared for the Pacific Cup's start in 2026, with a dedicated team, a finely tuned boat, and the experience to take on the Pacific’s demanding conditions.
