Tommy grew up in Hawaii, sailing at Kaneohe Yacht Club, where the Pacific Cup finishes. Since learning to sail in 2007, he's always had a passion for offshore racing, with dreams of racing across the Pacific. When the Captain Sluggo came on the market, Tommy saw the perfect opportunity to fulfill the boat's original purpose and take on the challenge it was built for.
Behind the lens, we have Brett, a natural talent in both media and storytelling. Not only is he an exceptional photographer, but he's also a very skilled sailor, making him the "Swiss Army Knife" of the team. With multiple major offshore races under his belt, Brett brings both creative firepower and valuable on-the-water experience to the program.
Sam is a Kaneohe local and recent UH Mānoa grad who’s been stacking up miles fast. From J/80s to Transpac campaigns, he keeps leveling up. Most recently, he navigated the Beneteau 47.7 Macondo to a class win and 5th overall in ORR at the 2025 Transpac.
When he’s not offshore, he’s usually surfing, kiting, or selling boats with Hawaii Yacht Sales.
